I think I read somewhere that there is a way to make cod 4 allow for more AA... I dont remember where though...

You can force it from Nvidia Control Panel. I don't know if you can mess with the COD4 configs to get 8x AA in game, but I doubt you would notice the difference anyway in such a fast paced game.
