cpu voltage is 1.200 and the rifle at the is definitely not flat against the cpu, theres obvious lines of thermal paste where theres a difference on the rifle.

I have the bolt through kit, and my temps are good. Didn't have to reseat once. Your temps are fairly high for that amount of voltage. My voltage is 1.35, and I idle at around 39 with gaming load around mid to high 40s maybe... I will re check it. With full load prime testing I never went above mid 50s, and that was with voltage at 1.3625.

More importantly, what program are you using to monitor temps? Everest's TJ max must be off because it's always higher than core temp.

Im using realtemp.. i think my next attempt at this is going to be to lap the rifle.. and ill be sure to take lots of pictures to give others insight on the process.

Thats good to hear.. If I overclock it I'm going to have to do something about the cooling. It will be better to overclock when I'm at school because we don't actually have heat besides some wall heaters and its usually about 60f in there.
