but that doesn't make sense to me. i heard someone mention before the it has to do with one core being g80 and the other g92
Thanks. If thats true, then I should be able to pick up a 9800GT Ultimate, which has 128SP, the same as the 8800GTS 512mb.

Thats a 9800gtx and 9800gt.The 9800gt has 128 sp's and my other 2 in another machine get about 6000ppd on same wu.
It gives a huge ppd drop but, im putting the 3 9800gt ultimates together , I have a new board sittin here waiting.
Wow I would have never guessed it was that bad a hit!

I get about 6k with the 9800GTX+ [with or without the 8800 folding in the other slot]

but for the 8800 GTS. I use to get like 4.5 k on it when it was by its self. It now will get 2k at best.

not sure why just telling you how it runs for me.

Let us know the outcome Plz.

We might need to get a chart with cards that work together?

Is that a 24/7 folding rig? Why do you need a sound card on that?

Wait so, same clock speed + same SPs = same performance right? They're both G92, just different card names.

I have two folding rigs. 1 is dedicated (4x8800GS) but my sig rig is my main rig, gaming, ect. It folds 24/7 but I won't let folding take priorities over good sound.

audio before the cure

know how you feel as I don't have the cash for both so they are still mediocre (hopefully adding a gso and building some new speakers soon)

but that come after I pay next semesters tuition
