Welcome to the forums. At the top of the section, there should be a link to a beginner's guide to OCing. I will go find it and give it to you.

Here it is. See what you can get from it, and while you're at it, if you fill out your System Specs under your User CP, we can give you more specific help.

Okay the first thing you have to do is restart and go into the bios. In the bios you will find something like guru. which is the overclock program for the board and bump up the vcore a few tenths and your multiplier is locked on that processor so you need to bump up the FSB. It should be default at 200. Try 215 and then hit f10 and see what happens.

I am not particularly familiar with that board, but I had my Socket 939 that I learned on. Use a temperature monitoring program (Like Real Temp) and then a program like Prime95 or CPU Burn-In, and let us know what your load temperature is.

On second thought, download CPU-Z, and post a screenshot with all of the tabs.

Post a CPU-Z screen with the CPU and Memory tabs open, and we can probably figure it out.
