i doubt it will be any better, just run cooler, as we saw with the 8800gt and the 9800gt AND 9800gtx vs. 9800gtx+........ almost no difference. low voltage + lower nm = same overclock as high nm.

They're not in stock anywhere in the UK yet D;

I sold my 2 month old 216 yesterday so I can buy one of these, hope it's worth the hassle.

it won't be. theses cards are 4 people who are still running low end. if u already gave a card of the same caliber, there's no reason to"no-grade"

I only sold it because I was annoyed that BFG didn't offer the step up in the UK, I took a £21 loss on selling the 216 but it's been folding for two month so I got my moneys worth I can now get the 55nm for the same price I payed for the 65nm two months ago.

\rying to justify it to myself

Heh i'm looking forward to just having something new to overclock anyway, I won't be to bothered if it performs the same as my old 65nm..

Yes, it's required to send in the card first before you can receive the new one. If they didn't do this, for sure, some will exploit this to get a new card for free.

IMO, not worth stepping up. You'll save yourself the hassle of shipping the card and waiting 2 weeks to get your new one and I'm pretty sure that you'll get the same performance if you compare the card side-by-side in benchmarks (unless otherwise, someone decided to bench them already). Since it's 55nm, I'm guessing you might get a difference of 2-5C.
