9800M GTX in SLI

Thread Starter
I recently bought a 9800M GTX to pair with my existing one on my laptop (NP9262)

I test my video card(3dMark06) using only 1 video card and i got a score of 10,300 avg.

When I enabled SLI and run the test my score just went up to 12,970... Is this the power of SLI? I'm kinda dissapointed on the result... I was hoping that it will go up to 15k at least...

Plus when I check the system info, even on the result, using 3dMark06 it say under the video card that the "Linked Display Adapters" option is "false" or should i say disable even though i enable it through nVidia cp???

I attach the result of the test in SLI, can someone take a look at it???

The scores you are getting are normal. Compare them with the performance figures @ Notebookcheck.com - they appear to be almost exactly the same, for both a single 9800M GTX, and SLI.

06 is extremely CPU dependent, your score is fine.

In the long run, I doubt it. Notice how they only had 1 score to figure in (3D '06) for 9800M GT SLI. The score could have been a fluke, or maybe current drivers are holding back the 9800M GTX (it wouldn't surprise me, considering SLI can be finicky at times, and especially considering these are notebook cards). Notice the single GTX outperforms the single GT. The two cards appear to have identical tech specs, except the GTX has 16 more shaders.

going to have to disagree... looking at my scores and performance marks in games means you probably dont have the right drivers in stalled my friend.
