Gtx 295

hey everyone

as most of you might already the 295 is coming out next yr

and well buy most of the reviews I've read it beats the 4870x2 (in most games) now i just brought a 4870x2

so dose anyone know if it's worth keeping my 4870x2 and waiting to see if something comes out better than the 295 in like 6 months or just buy one when the drivers mature

(here's some reviews)

Definitely keep the HD4870X2 it has been the fastest card for awhile now, you don't always need the fastest card on earth to enjoy games . besides the GTX295 should only barely beat the 4870X2 and probably lose to it in some games, making it a foolish upgrade from someone already running a 4870X2.

Keep your 4870x2. Rumors has it ATI has saved a feature called "sideport", helping the 2 GPU's on this card working better together. This feature is to be enabled with a new set of drivers soon to be released.
I bet they will be released when the 295 comes out.

good to here

I'm getting the 965 i7 extreme cpu soon along with a Asus Rampage II Extreme and some triple Chanel ddr3 so that should make it faster

sell it and get the gtx 295 jus sold my 4870x2 n its the best thing i ever did, 4870x2=pain in the arse, gtx 295 are alot better i tried ati n had nothing but problems, having to mess about with the settings before i played a game, and poor performance on alot of games, im not a nvidia fan boy, but there the best since the day i got a 4870x2 i was dissapointed, jus got a gtx295 and am playing games more than i ever did on the ati crap
