We need a 1 screen curved display (like the Alienware one but not with 4 screens)

There is a SEVERE lack of understanding from some people in this thread.

The screens on either side are meant to be viewed with your peripheral vision, when triplehead gaming. You concentrate on the centre screen as usual, and the side screens are for added immersion.

Squashed/distorted image at the edges?
Yes, but that is a function of the game engine camera, and NOT the triple screen setup.
The same effect is present on even 4:3 displays at a non widescreen FOV, it just is not as pronounced.

I am a triplehead owner, and I assure you, that if viewed correctly, it is a cool experience.
However, it is not exactly user friendly, and getting some games to play with it is a real pain.
I mostly just stick with my HDTV now.

I don't think anyone was accusing the triple screen setup of being the culprit of the squashed/distorted image. They're just complaining that it is squashed and distorted at all.

I have to say, I could put up with the squash/distortion, but that rig cannot run the game at that resolution and very high quality. It really looks terrible. Although it looks much better during daytime than it does at nighttime, to me.

Oh I agree on that, it does take a LOT of processing power. My screens are three 1280x1024 displays, for a total of 3,932,160 pixels.
His three 5040x1050 display setup is 5,292,000 pixels.
My setup is almost as hard to power as a 2560x1600 display, and his is even worse.
That is one of the reasons I play on my HDTV a lot now - with three screens Crysis has to be set to medium and it still gets only 20fps at that resolution on my rig. I can run high/very high much more comfortable at 1080p.
