Im looking to get a cheap socket 775 mobo that can do some overclockin, it doesnt need much else, only needs 1 pcie preferably pcie2.0 and 2-4 ram slots is fine as well the amount of sata ports doesnt matter much either. brand doesnt really matter either just tryin to get my dad off his stock p.o.s intel mobo cause i know the e6320 thats in the pc has plenty of potential considering it used to be in this rig of mine.

Gigabyte is always a good option. Here are a couple other possible choices if that doesn't work.

I really don't think you'll find PCIe2.0 on a board under $60, although if you're looking to expand it a little:

$70

Or open box items (just use your old cables, since you already have a running rig)

MSI Neo3

$75, DFI BloodIron

ASUS P5QL

I'd say look at the open box boards first, since you should already have all/most of what you need in the currently running machine. Just might have to burn drivers quick or reference online manuals to get things going. That DFI board, while 25% above your listed range, is definitely a board to look into if your range isn't concrete. I've heard amazing things of Blood Iron. Either way, be prepared to flash BIOS right away, as always with a new board.

Good luck!

You mean format, lol, but anyways thx for the help i just want to have a semi decent board cause i dont feel like buying my dad a 780i like myself cause thats just way to much money for his needs. i just need a but that will let me overclock the e6320 to 3+ghz which i know can be done on that cpu easily, and possibly pcie2.0 and 4-8gb ram support.
