I dont . I did jump the power supply(fan jumped to life for 0.001 seconds then turned off), try an old p4 on the mobo with a spare power supply on the motherboard , nothing. My neighbor tried the cpu and ram and he says they are working except 1 stick of ram. I might rma both sticks just and the cpu just for good measure. Might as well.
Finally Perfected

I can't see too clearly, but is the part that looks charred a capacitor? There have been reports of faulty capacitors in many computer components that can lead to catastrophic failure.

That's a real bummer. In the future I would not buy any BFG power supplies, from reviews none of them are particularly good.

I trust PC P&P, Corsair, some Thermaltakes, Silverstone, some Antec psus, some Enermax.....

btw was the BFG under warranty?

I think that's the underside of a hard drive.

Damn OTS, that sucks man.. Sorry to hear about that. I hate the smell of burnt electronics, its happened to me before not too long ago. Hope they RMA all your stuff and you get your rig back up and running and BFG has some good support staff, so I think you may win out.
