CrossFire Not Working?

Thread Starter
I got my second 4870 1GB today and I installed it. It says CrossFire is enabled in CCC, GPU-Z, and 3DMark06. After running 3DMark06, I went down 800 Pts. I am using 2 bridges and 8.12 drivers.

Any ideas on why its not working?

Edit: I am using 2 monitors, both on the same card.

try reducing the clocks to stock and the volts to stock. and retry enabling crossfire.

Sadly this might be your problem

each monitor gets a GPU assigned to it

I had one on one card while the other was on another card. When identifying the GPU's, its said one was 1, while the other was 4

This probably means that a monitor is in slot 1 while the other is in slot 4. you have 2 gpus assigned 1 and 4. try turning off a monitor.

After doing some testing, I get 2 fps less at one point in Vantage with 2 cards than I do with 1 card.
