Thread Starter
I have been running 3DMARK 06 and only been getting scores of 15.8 for two of these guys that seems a little low to me. when i disabled crossfire my 3d mark score went from 15.8 to 15.4 so its like its not using the second cards, here are my system specs

intel duel core 3.0gz
4gig ddr3
2x sapphire 4870 x2 2 gig
1000 watt psu
vista 32bit

any help would be great

looks like your CPU might be bottlenecking your video cards. It might be time to step up to a quad.

vista 32bit only supports ~4 gigs of ram. This includes video ram. So basicaly, you have 8 gigs of ram (4 form the cards and 4 from the ddr3 sticks) and only 4 gigs can be used. If you can you should upgrade to vista 64bit.

ya im using the E8400 do you have to upgrade to 64bit over the net or can you buy it from a computer store?
You need to go quad or overclock that dual very high to stop bottlenecking the cards.
You also need x64 Vista because of the RAM problems that have been mentioned.

Also what motherboard are you using?
You can buy it from a store but it may cost you to buy it again.
There is a way to only pay a little if nothing, it was on someones sig... I'll have a look see if I can find something.

Get that e8400 clocked higher to reduce the bottleneck.

Please stop using generic specifications like those. What 1000W power supply is it ?.
