HD monitor

Ok so if i was going to get a blue ray player for my computer, would i have to buy an HD tv to get the full HD quality picture? Or could i just buy a 24" LCD monitor and that work as an HD monitor? Kinda confused on the whole issue.

Thanks!

you could do it. A monitor could double as an hdtv with a blue ray player (considering it has HDMI input) but it would be weaksauce compared to a BIGGER hdtv.

simply put : it will work, but it won't give you a home theater experience.

If yo're considering getting an HD monitor, i'd suggest this. it is inexpensive and is Full 1080p. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...pk=acer%2021.5
Also comes with an HDmi cable.

EDIT: I thought you meant you wanted to get a Blu Ray Disc player.

Any monitor with a res of 1920x1080 will display Full hd.
