4870 1gb cooling

Hey

Im stuck between getting a BFG GTX 260 maxcore.. or the 48701gb..

i was considering the DK 48701gb but does that 4 pipe cooling make any difference from the HIS version??

the BFG is on sale for 250 after MIR.. while the DK is 300, HIS is 280 after MIR

ive seen similar performances across the board.. but what GPU has the better cooling/price.

THANKS

btw those prices are canadian.. so u americans, dont be alarmed

ALSO.. i plan on getting the EP45-UD3P mobo.. but having doubts about crossfiring 8x / 8x
so i mite just single card!!

I just purchased an Asus DK 4870 1GB recently.
I live in Ontario, purchased it for $316.99 at Infonec.com warehouse in Markham, ON.

Out of the box - Idle temps 40-45C with fan speed at 50%

After lowering fan speed
Idle temps 50-51C with fan speed at 20%
Load temps 60-65C with fan speed at 20%

The fan is loud out of the box so make sure you turn it down!

Hope this helps.
