Am I doing this all right?

1. Add Remove Program and remove NVidia driver ( Included option for ethernet but unchecked it ) .
2. Restart and boot up to safe mode
4. Checked to see if my video driver was removed in add or remove program, and it was It gave me a message about removing the ethernet so it showed me it was removed.
5. Run Driver Cleaner Pro
6. Select NVidia tab and press clean ( I don't know if I had to do more than that )
7. Install that beta patch ( I had to make a custom folder somewhere in my computer because when I tried to run it at one of my folders it automatically downloaded, it gave me a different setup [ Like Kaspersky, etc. ] after the NVidia setup was extracting its files... Weird... )
8. Let it reboot after install and go back to original windows state.
9. Let it install 9600 GT and reboot.

Because after all that, it still does the lag/freezes. Is there anything I did above wrong?

I tested out again. Nothing. None of the above worked for me (Except deleting the NVidia folder, I have 2 NVidia folders and don't plan to delete it , because I still think it won't work.) . Any other way to fix my problem or does it seem the only way of being fixed is to wait for a new official NVidia patch? It sems as I have to wait a long, long time for another new official NVidia patch.

you could try deleting the NVIDIA folder(s)

it's nothing serious, just where the installer extracts it's files to before it copies them to the main windows directory

guys this really sucks, I'm on my laptop for the past week while my $$ tower is not being used.... what the hell is up!

I know it cant be hardware issue because I can run it in safe mode with no issues.....running it normal will cause a lag/freeze issue in 10/15 min that will last for 5 min than it will go away and that is it...computer is fine until I shut it off...***!
