Logisys cold cathode lights - Page 2

If you want sound activation, Logisys has the IV01 sound inverter module. It's normally packaged with the 15" kits.

The holes, as RadoDrill said, are for ventilation as the inverter does get rather warm.

The switching to flash the CCFLs is done on the DC side of the inverter. There are some sound reactive modules that connect between the molex and a standard inverter (can also be used on LED light kits) as well as units that house both the sound reactive circuitry and the actual inverter.

that's what i wanted to know...because i'd hate to plug it in and it wouldn't work or it would do something bad to my PSU i'm connecting it to or the cold cathode lights....
