Well if your planning on the GTX295...as I think you said further up?

Then wouldnt it be best to get an nvidia card for the step up?

That said..I would say GTX 260 Core 216

yes...you were correct as i hinted that around, i mean seriously, it does sound like a great deal to get the core 216 then use EVGA's step up program to get the 295 for the difference?

4870 hands down. Sapphire has good deals on newegg now. Ive seen some price drops. good luck!

If you like step up go with GTX 260. 4870 = gtx 260, in performance, equal.
