Problem with my SLI'd 8800gt's!

Thread Starter
When I run 3dmark 06 I get this message after it runs for a few minutes. IDirect3DDevice9:resentFailed: DeviceLost(D3DERR_DeviceLost) Any ideas what mt problem could be? When I adjust the clocks through Rivatuner this happens. The funny thing is I found the stable core clock and memory clock and the settings that I am running are below those stable values. I have ran these 8800's stable at higher speeds before in SLI, but now this error message comes up any time I adjust the core more than 710 and shaders more than 1800. The memory was not stable over 1000. Is there any way to adjust voltages on the card other than volt mods?

710core/1800shader seems like a perfectly adequate score for SLI... but if you think you're stable and getting that error:

Download ATItool, go into settings, drop down to Artifact Scanning, and make sure the slider for "more artifacts detected, lower overclock VS less artifacts detected, higher overclock" is pulled all the way back towards more artifacts detected... @ default, this setting is one notch away from the left, making it miss slight artifacts

If you're 10minutes artifact free w/ the above settings - it's probably a driver issue and you should reload the latest Forceware drivers

Now that you mention it, I think it is a driver problem. With Omega drivers I did not have this problem. Can't believe I didn't think of that. Thanks.
