DVi to HDMI

post #1 of 4

I'm going to be running my computer on my 1080p tv at times, is there a specific DVI to HDMI cable I should be looking for? I noticed a lot of DVI to HDMI cables are DVI-D instead of the Graphics cards DVI-I. Does it matter, and If i find a DVI-I to HDMI, would that be best?

Here is where I go for inexpensive cables, don't be fooled by price and stupid gimmicks. A cable is a cable.

* DVI-D (digital only)
* DVI-A (analog only)
* DVI-I (integrated, digital & analog)

HDMI is Digital only.

You'll want to get a cable that's Catagory 2, HDMI spec 1.3 or better... a 2M cable shouldn't cost more than $15
