hey guys, my mum is getting a HDMI adapter for me because shes going shopping, and i was wondering what resolution it would output at and can i choose or is it just 1920x1080?

Most 32'' TVs output in 720P (lower than 1920x1080), unless you dished out extra for a 1080P 32'' TV.

If it does accept 1080P / 1080i input, I'm not sure how it would look on your TV.

You can generally choose the resolution, whether its your PC, XBOX, PS3, or dvd player. Depends on the source itself, and the capabilities of the TV. The HDMI cable will enable you to output at better resolutions as opposed to the typical RCA cable (yellow)...
