you are quite right...one is going to be a beast.....for the quad i think there is a thread that compares GTX295 In Quad mode configuration ans 4870X2 I n CF configuration.....not a big difference! This is it

Wow, third time i have had to correct someone about this card not being a GTX260 sli. here pasted from the last thread with people calling this a GTX260 SLI that i had to correct.

They are a lot faster then GTX260's, check the specs at least. the GTX295 has the same processor cores as two GTX280's as well as the same filtering units as dual GTX280's. please stop comparing GTX260 SLI to this card. SO yes skydeaner is correct, with new drivers and actual retail cards we will see correct benchmarks.

this is fool ....the memory is 1792mb=896+896 from 2 gtx260!!!!the same core, shader, and memory clocks as the gtx260 but its x2 cause of the sandwich...memory interface is 448bit per gpu as one from the gtx260!!!memory bandwidth 223.8GB/s
and i am not saying that its SLI!!!! I am saying tha its a sandwich...
