CPU sensor core1 (or core0)

Thread Starter
i reseated my cpu yesterday, cleaned and reapplied as5, however when i took out the cpu, it somehow managed to fall out of my fingers and into a 12-pack soda box, i tok it out, nothing damaged, some cans were melting, not really, anyways now that i put it back in, i noticed that core1 temp is constant while the other 3 cores temps work ok
this is not a problem caused by reseating right, most likely me dropping
would it be ok just to leave as is since i can guess the temp of core1 (which should be around the same as the other 3) so no worries right?

It's common for one or more of them to be stuck anyway, i wouldn't worry.

Why wasn't your CPU safely in its motherboard socket? I never remove it from the socket just to clean thermal paste off of it.
