You'd be surprised how much people will do for a deal. ANY deal.

I know people that drive across town to the other grocery store to save 2-3c on their items, oblivious to the fact that they are probably using an extra $2-3 of gas to get there.

My lovely girl is making that. Ever worked at a Wal-Mart?
No, oh.

Then don't assume their a bad company.
Be it, they have some pretty bad things going on, and their not the best company out there, they still provide jobs.

Their Heath plans are very affordable. I've seen it.
$250K life insurance for $1.99/ mo
$5k blanket health insurance for $2.99/mo (be it that that is a small number, I don't remember what the 50K and 100K are going for. I don't have the benefit sheet with me).

I've never seen forced unpaid labor. Everyone there doing labor is getting paid.

I'm not caring to much for the people bad talking Wal-Mart and not doing anything.
Next time someone does, they should start a multinational business and try to be better then Wal Mart.

It won't work.

Iphone for $197!

That could make or break it for me. I wonder what the clearance price will be...

Gee, how clever. Are you going to invest if someone does? Yeah, didn't think so - you're going to have to come up with better arguments than "why don't you go do it yourself," which is basically at the same level of absurdity as the children's taunt "if you love it so much then why don't you marry it?!" There are already several national corporations better than Wal-Mart in nearly every respect that don't have the blatant corporate-sponsored disregard for common decency and corporate responsibility. By not shopping at Wal-Mart no matter what, and spreading the word for others to do the same when applicable, I am doing all that I can. Whether you or anyone else chooses to see the light is not my problem.
