What size PSU should I get?

I'm building a computer for my friend, but I don't know how big of a PSU to get for his computer. It's going to have a Q6600, P45 mobo, 9600 GT, 1 hard drive, and 1 optical drive. Would a 500W be good enough, or would I have to get a bigger one?

corsair 520HX

plenty of power, just be sure you get a quality PSU like the corsair I linked.

I'd say 550+, though amperage on the 12v rail(s) is more important than total wattage.

A quality 500w would be fine, but would not leave much room for upgrading.

The reviews look good on this, would it be good?

I've heard some bad things about the quality of the Rosewill PSU's.

I would recommend these:

Corsair VX550 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...orsair%20550vx

As j0z3 said, the OCZ http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817341010

edit: i've heard mostly bad things from rosewill PSU's best to avoid them
