Budget of $100

I have a budget of $100 for a computer case. What are some good ones out there for that price or cheaper? I don't have to worry about shipping, but LED lights would be nice looking XD.

Without a doubt, the Cooler Master 690. This may not have much external bling, but for the price of $79.99, you probably won't be able get anything better for under $100! For a little more bling, you could get the NVIDIA version. However, you may be able to find this case far cheaper after shipping if you look around using Google Shopping.

In fact, I bought my 690 at Provantage.com and saved a lot of money over Newegg. Now, I just did some quick Google Shopping, and sure enough, it's once again the best deal I can personally find on the internet. Check it out!! After shipping for me, it's $76.85. Add it to your cart and use the shipping calculator to see what it is for you. But I tried a couple of different states, and it remained the same.

Watch out with bottom-mounted PSU cases. If it draws air from under the case, your PSU will get plugged with floor gunk. If you draw air from inside the case, you'll be heating up your graphics card. There's no filter under the PSU on the 690. Consider adding one.

Other cases to chew on -

NZXT Alpha - I think this case is sexy as all get out, and it's $54.99 without a window, $70.00 with a window... and that link has a $20.00 rebate! It's got a clean, really aggressive look. Some folks complain about it's airflow... something to consider if you're going to be overclocking much.

The Antec Nine Hundred can be had for around $100, it's got panazz to spare and is known for having crazy airflow. High airflow = High dust, though. Consider getting filters for it.

If you want to splurge a bit, Best Buy will well you an Antec P180 for $114 shipped.

Coolermaster Centurion 5 - This is arguably the best case you can buy for $50, tooless design, high-airflow mesh bezel looks neat with an LED fan behind it, and an optional window ($20) if you want to add some flair. I've owned this case for a little over a year now and it's been a pleasure. It looks a lot better in person than the product image suggests.

Antec 300 can look pretty awesome if you are willing to put some work into it, same with the 900. Needs to be modded a little to make it look really good. Like paint inside, cut holes for wire managment, dust filters.
