Huh? DDR3 is the type of memory you have. "Triple channel" is how the memory operates. On that page in the manual, it tells you how the channels are defined and has a chart showing the optimum configuration for the number of DIMMs you have.

You have a triple channel kit of DDR3 memory. So, according to the chart, you would populate DIMM slots A1, B1, and C1. Looking at the graphic above the chart, this corresponds to the blue slots.

I'm not trying to be an ass. I'd rather help someone figure out how to figure it out for themselves rather than just hand deliver the answer. Giving someone the answer solves the problem but doesn't help them understand why it is the answer. If one doesn't understand something in the manual, I will help them try to comprehend what the manual is telling them.

well after i was done reading the manual and didn't understand i asked a simple question, i don't need to be told to read the frickin book when all i need is a simple put it in the blue slots. thats one of the main things this site does is help answer questions. if you don't like what i asking then don't waste your time answering. but its ok i will next time state that i already read it so you don't have a meltdown. im surprised you don't flip out on every other person who asks how to oc their CPU even though there is a thread on almost every CPU on the forum. and i thought there might be a different setup for the triple chan ddr3 ram then the regular ddr3 ram. once again im just making sure so i don't screw up my $400 mobo.
