Best Case For This Investment

Thread Starter
Well I'm selling my old computer and if I get a buyer then I'm going to be making a big purchase. If you see anything that you would recommend changing then please speak up, but I am limited to $2400 and I do NOT want to spend over $2200, I am trying to stay under $2000 to be honest though. I will be overclocking, but my main focus will be the CPU. I want to keep my hardware nice and cool.

Currently Sub-total = 2,114.82
+$57.72 Shipping
-$30.00 Promo Codes
Current Total =2,142.30

Promo codes are on the harddrive and the powersupply.

Here are pictures of my cart.

Well I spoke with a bud of mine and re-did the configuration, here it is now..

What do you guys thing of the Cooler Master 830 Stacker? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811119122
post #4 of 13
The 830 is a nice case but the 1200 would be a much better investment over time. It also features what I think is much better bang for $. Of course eather case's specs are not to be sniffed at but on the whole, 1200.

Yeah the re-do was better since in first picture you selected DDR3 Memory which was unnecessary for this board and CPU.

Instead of 3 gtx 260 get 2 GTX 280. The 3rd GTX 260 will give only a +10% performance boost.

EVGA is one of the best hardware manufacturers out there. I'm actually switching to an EVGA NVIDIA board as soon as possible.

The main reason I switched from the Antec 1200 is because it uses more screws than the 830 stacker.

You don't need to know whats going inside the case, you need to know how well that case will handle whatever you put into it. Also, since i'm looking at fulltowers then I have no worries about room.
