Ide go with a 4870 or gtx 260, whichever is cheaper
If you didn't know, the gtx 260 has 896MB of memory vs the 4870's 512

I would go for 4870 512Mb. You would only notice the lack of Vram playing games with AA, and high resolutions (>1680), and not all games.

Although, some "greenies" are trying to take you to the dark side... Don't believe them. They are only trying to confuse you with old reviews. 4870 can beat a GTX260, and pair a GTX260 Core216.

In my country, nvidia (envidia) means envy. That's what they feel about us...

Think that you can always CF it with the 1Gb version if you upgrade your monitor...

RGDS!!
