Do you actually have a 295 already or is that just a preview?

'Cuz if it's not you owe OCN some benchies!

I think it's a system he plans to build soon but he doesn't actually have a GTX 295.

It still doesnt seem that two of these will beat 3 gtx 280's.

Quad GPU Drivers just plain suck and always have since 7950 series.

Nothings changed.

Quad Crossfire X wasnt the best implementation either, alot of scores were riddled with bad scaling, for soem reason tri- sli scales better than quad sli,

But If buying a new card - it seems it will be a very nice card for one physical card. But Your better off buying 3 GTX 280's for round 370 than 2 of these at 550+

Quad crossife/sli does have one distinct advantage though. It drasticly reduces the micro stutter associated with a duel gpu solution and has somewhat less thana 3 gpu solution, so frame rates being equal, the 4 gpu setup would look better than the 2 or 3 gpu setups (assuming everyone is using AFR).

Thats somewhat true but really only noticeable if your pulling frames ~10 fps.

Though it seems some people are more prone to micro stutter than others. But Quad GPU also suffer from micro stutter, just as much as dual gpus do.

Im not quite sure if it is less or more than 3 gpus, havent seen any comparisions for that.

I only get p28.5k while they get p32.5k, yes gtx 295s are faster...

I think many of you are just trying to justify not needing these cards which we don't but without a doubt they are gonna be the next best thing. I got to play with one today managed over 30k with one card in 06 and 100k in 03 not on my system but similiar

I can't wait to get my pair next week
