Should i quit this mmorpg? - Page 8

depends on how you feel. If you do sell it, you may feel gutted, and if you don't, you'll regret not selling it. One thing I can say - don't rush the decision, as you may regret it.

Dude sell your account and quit the MMORPG..

People will say games are a waste of life and I will defend that to my death, but MMORPGs go a little too far sometimes, and if you get addicted to them you'll be sacrificing your real life for your characters. I say quit while you're ahead and make a nice little profit.

If you enjoy it, and it doesn't control your life, play it.

An MMOG played 16 hours a day is no unhealthier than any other game played 16 hours a day. You don't know how many super hardcore gamers I know who play ALL day EVERY day (no job, no gf, etc) laugh at MMOG'ers saying they have no lives.

There's a stigma attached to MMOGs that other hardcore gamers (and I'm sure there are plenty here that have said SELL IT SELL IT U NEED A LIFE) look down on... when in reality, you're probably socializing even more than they are in an MMOG.

I've been a hardcore FPS'r, RTS'r, and MMOG'r at different points in my life. They're all just as consuming.

Well, I play MMOs. So does my girlfriend. We play them together. In fact, she sits in my lap and plays them.

We don't let them consume us though. We play them for fun. =)

Your mom sits in your lap too?

I thought she only sat in mine.

Exactly. I don't play WoW more than I played Counterstrike: Source before I got wow; in fact, now I spare more and more sparingly.

just quit the game... you'd be better off playing single player or lan games like left4dead and etc.. ive been to this situation before and its better quit it and get a life.

#uninstall the game! and delete the installer (probably easier to stop playing when its not on your desktop.

I love how we have well established the fact that MMO's are no different than a normal game... and just like any other game it can be taken to far.... BUT everyone keeps assuming that MMO's are the root of all evil and that he has no life and must sell the game to live.

I would say sell it if you want money. I have sold two wow accounts for substantial amounts of money and for some reason I am still playing today as a lowly level 38 and trucking slowly. If you think by selling it you won't go back, beware..
