Does anyone else see that ram speeds are increasing at similar rates to CPU speeds cerca P3-P4 era? Where we hit 1 ghz and now have hit 2 ghz unceremoniously, and will eventually get stuck at a wall like processors were?

Only ram won't have the multi-core solution to bail them out.

i just see RAM prices dropping like crazy over the next year/2

So its obviously not intended for an X58 motherboard @ 2.1v and its a dual channel kit, not triple.

I bet their performance at lower voltage is probably disapointing.... if it wasn't they would be selling it at those specifications IMO. Very few enthusiasts want pricey DDR3 memory and no i7 CPU/motherboard.

Didn't corsair release a 2000mhz memory model that is supposed to run on 1.65v?
Wow these are nice. They seem to have inherited Corsair's hair-comb ramsinks.

OMG 2.1v on ANY DDR3 is going to cause problems

I bet you these things will die after a few months of use.
