Looks awesome. I would like to get a Swiftech NB-MAX block for my R2E in the future, but I probably won't have enough money.

Looks great. I guess you just used some more tubing instead of removing the flow meter?

X4n4th,
I know- I'm a complete W/C noob, but I have been looking into both of those blocks for when I do go H2O.

I know at the swiftnet site they are very specific on the GTZ orientation. and say it should only be mounted in one way.

They indicate that it should be mounted in a vertical orientation- and I guess because it was quicker, cheaper, smaller for the site!-
rather than showing the whole mobo they just took a 'mount like this with respect to the hold down clip' approach;

Well on the 775 socket the clip is at the bottom, so that means the "orient this way" arrow would be pointing up.
(and they do stipulate that the orientation diagram is for socket775)
However, on the i7 the clip is on the right side of the socket- so transposing that diagram the "orient this way" arrow would be pointing horizontally!

Shouldn't it still be pointing up?
I mean, do they need a revised diagram for i7?
Or should they just say "always mount so the swiftech logo is in "normal reading" orientation? regardless of the clip location!
Or is it supposed to be up on 775 and sideways on the i7 because of different chip layout??
Inquiring minds want to know! (OK- just me!)
You may have already considered all of this and contacted Swifty about it?!?!

Otherwise, isn't your inlet/outlet config Sideways???
I'm cerainly curious!!
(for when I get round to my i7 build- They'll probably be on to the next die shrink or newer cooling blocks by then though!
Cheers mate

And +1 for such a clean & beautiful build
(gorgeous case too)

Nice rig!

So can someone clarify for me: The "motherboard" temperature in EVEREST is in fact the temperature of the NB?

Nice temps for a quad but how do you know what your NB temp is?

Northbridge is the SPP sensor and SB is MCP,
