Was leaning towards the new Asus that newegg got not too long ago. It's a bit cheaper and looks promising. I know they are slightly different resolutions but what do you guys think?

I've always loved Samsungs panels, and haven't ever really considered anything other than them. They're occasionaly priced a bit higher than other brands, but i've never been let down by them.

Whoa. Between these two choices, I'd get ASUS without a doubt. The Samsung is $399.99! However, I bet it's worth it!!!

You know what really annoys me about the 2493HM is the chrome band along the bottom of the case and its glossy bezel. That's why I went with the 2443BW instead, which is a trimmed down version of the 2493HM. The Asus monitor doesn't even have stand adjustment capabilities, although not everyone needs this I guess.
