Installing Itunes on Vista and help setting up kids security

Thread Starter
So "Santa" bought our girls Ipod Nano's. I would like to install Limewire on their computer with Vista, so only I can access it. Then install Itunes so each of the girls can access that on their respective user accounts.

Can this be done and if so, can you walk me through it?

Don't use limewire! Download uTorrent instead, so you don't get viruses. I'm pretty sure you can lock your documents folder, it should be somewhere in your user account settings. Just install it there and it should work.

If Windows Vista Home Premium has the Security tab, you could:

1) Right-Click designated Folder
2) Click the Security Tab
3) Click the Advanced radio button near the bottom.
4) When the Advanced tab opens up, it should bring up the Permissions Settings
5) Click Edit
6) Add their name
7) When the new dialog pops up, Type in their User Name and press Check, it should change it to an acceptable form.
8) After that, press Okay
9) Then click on the User Name in question.
10) Click Edit
11) Then unclick every checkbox and select "Apply these permissions to objects and/or files and folders." (Not the exact wording)
12) Then hit Apply (It will take a little while for it to set all the permissions)

Hope that helps.
