Thread Starter
hello everyone

im new to overclocking and im going to overclock my first computer now

i've installed all the programs i need

prime95 , cpuz , speedfan and easytune 6 with my motherboard

cpu : e4500 2.2ghz
motherboard :ep43-ds3l
psu : 400watt

so .. how can i start overclocking ? .. i've bought a new fan for my cpu

thermaltake v1

... and what is the max speed i can make my cpu run ?

i've played around with the easytune ..

what's the Cpu vcore ? i saw some videos .. so i tried increasing it with the FSB ... but when i put the fsb to 233 <- the computer crashes ..

i get about 2.5ghz ... cant get more ..

I would actually return that CPU cooler...
Well what are the current temperatures while running prime95?

Get rid of EasyTune. Use your BIOS.

Look for a menu that allows you to change multipliers, FSB, RAM, and from there, set everything to manual. Then once your there, we can help you further

Set your ratio to 11.

Try to set your fsb to 1100 you should be able to do this on stock vcore.
