Are you running the ram 1:1? If you are, it puts more stress on the controller, and will only allow you to run tRD (Trans booster) at 10 or so. But if you can run the 5:6 divider (use a 1.2 multi... soo 400 FSB x 1.2 = 480MHz... x 2 = DDR2 960), you vcan run tRD at 7. Thats why I got the G.Skill DDR2 1100 kit. I was able to OC them to 1165 with 1.84v vdimm, and ran them 24/7 at 1134."
I'll have to double check when i get home (at work), but on the 400 strap there's x2 which give's 1:1 and the next on is 2.66 or there abouts.
But yeah it's currently running at 1:1. W/ the current settings & dropping the cpu to x6 for testing, it's rock solid at 490fsb. Though, so far, even on much lower fsb's I haven't been able to get the memory out of 1:1...everything i've tried in that dept. just ends up in a bootloop and I have to reset.
Also just to note if it goes un-noticed, that I'm running all 4 dimms.
