I was reading for a while this nice thread an here is my story.
I'm not a bad overclock-er but I manage to do things around.
I left initially my system at 9x400 with Auto VCore and everything was perfect.
Then I wanted to push a little more since I saw it's possible and I decided to go for 444x9 again with Auto VCore. My system was again stable but I really didn't like the VCore staying at 1.3625 (CPUZ). With IntelBurnTest CoreTemp indicated 84-88 degrees C (way too much)
My VID=1.2875 so I went and manually put VCore in Bios at 1.312 and my system became stable with VCore (in CPUZ) at 1.296 as you can see in the link and CoreTemp in IntelBurnTest indicates between 70-74 degrees C (more acceptable).
Prime95 doesn't heat up more than 56-63 degrees C.
With VCore 1.300 IntelBurnTest tells me it's not stable... but no BSOD.
Also my NB is at 1.4 since I have 4x2GB DDR and otherwise it doesn't get stable.
I really enjoy this system and I hope others will find this thread helpful, as it was for me.
I also don't know where is my CPU Box... so no batch available.
