Any clue as to why mine wont go past 680.

Even pushing it to 687 gets artifacts in ATi Tool after about 30sec. I hear a lot of it is luck of the draw.

Someone suggested temps being my problem but Even at full load I don't exceed 70c. I have the fan amped up to 60% at the moment.
just got my card within the past week and i cant seem to get past 675 core myself...im at 1050 on the memory, but i havent tried to push that. i will definitely be interested in trying out the evga software once a version comes out that is compatible with the 55nm.

Anyone tried with the patch from here yet?

http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=287340

I just reinstalled it, it launches but i'm a bit worried about trying it, someone else go first

Upon start-up it's at 2000mv lol, default voltage is 1.12 though i'm thinking about trying 1.14v, My temps still arn't the same though since re-applying TIM.

EDIT: Hmm it seems a little glitchy, I think i'm going to leave it alone. I just tried bumping it a little and hit apply, still says current voltage is it 2000mv.. There is no way of monitoring actualy voltage of the 55nm's without a multimeter since the riva tuner plugins and other methods don't seem to work with these cards.

EDIT: lol, I couldn't resist. I went up to 1175 from the stock 1125, bumped my core/shader up to the next strap, artifacts in less than a minute like before

do you have the patch? it was removed from the link

edit: nvm, found it somewhere else...but it doesn't apply the voltage, just sets it to 2000mV and no change when I use the multimeter

bah! 675 is my limit. backed it down to 670...gonna test out the voltage tuner once evga releases an official version for the 55nm part.

nice looking card ya got so far!

It doesn't crash or show artifacts running the Crysis benchmark, Vantage, 3dm 06, and no artifacts showing for 20 minutes so far in ATI Tool. Currently at 720mhz core. This overclocks so much better than my 4850, runs much cooler and quieter too.
