The 55nm GTX 260 216 Overclock Thread - Page 72

Are there any standard ways to run furmark? Does the fullscreen or resolution size make any difference? Should I run it at my monitors default res?

I just ran the stability test at 713/1512/1215 at fullscreen 1280x1024 for 3 min. Max temp on GPU1 was 72C. I thought I noticed a few little flickers at the bottom of the screen, what I would call artifacts. I don't see any type of notification in furmark for that, and once I hit escape the program completely stopped.

I'm a furmark n00b! Any suggestions would be welcome!

When I run Furmark I always run it at my monitors native resolution and in fullsceen. Also, I always run the stability test and turn some AA on to make sure that the card is stable. I would run it at your monitors native resolution with the stability test and some AA if you want and let it run for about an hour, if you get artifacts then turn your clocks down a little bit each time.

Thanks for the advice! Is there any built in artifact or error notification or you just have to notice them visually (as I did notice some slight flickering on the bottom of the screen)?

Just received my EVGA GTX 260 216 55nm vanilla today. Overclocking has been somewhat disappointing:

Thru nibitor I did find out that my extra voltage is 1.05V, so I might flash it down the road to 1.12.

I'm guessing around 11k without Physx

Still a nice score though.
