Just been overclocking my 260GTX and got her to run all day stable at 650/1400/1100

Can i push her more on stock voltage or do i need to mod the BIOS?

If i do need to mod the BIOS is it easy? As i have no Floppy Drive

you can use the HP storage tool to make a bootable usb drive.

HERE

this page even contains the bootable win98 files,

basically, format your flash drive with the tool, point it at the 98 files, and after that finished, put the flash utility and the bios file on it.

if you use nvflash, youll type this:

nvflash GT200.ROM

and it will flash your card.

What happens when you guys exceed you core limits/shader/memory?

i.e. does you card drop to the power saving 3d speeds or crash, and freeze te PC or only the game etc.

what's your 3D voltage set to...I saw a few BIOS's from your card where it's only at 1.06v...maybe you can flash to 1.12v if that's the case

Hey man if your using a EVGA card I am dealing with the same issues, cannot go past the factory OC values and even at them am getting artifacting in ATI Tool.

http://www.overclock.net/nvidia/4994...e-216-ssc.html

I am going to be getting a hold of EVGA this afternoon about this as there seems to be a trend of people lately getting bad GTX 260's but I cannot say with any certainty that this is a fact yet.
