Let me know how that goes. I also avoided the RivaTuner workaround as you need to use such old drivers to get that to work (like 186's or something).
One of my 260's does something similar (my BFG). I've considered flashing to a different bios. My XFX never downclocks from instability, while my BFG does it more often then I'd like. I'm not sure that a different bios would work, but eventually I'm going to try it.
Edit: Maybe we are experiencing the exact same thing. When the card is power-saving the core clock will drop to [301Mhz Core | 602Mhz Shader | 100Mhz Memory]. When I stress the card to where I would expect artifacting I instead see a core clock of 400Mhz. Then I either have to restart, or disable and then renable SLI and that finally recovers the card.Edited by W4LNUT5 - 5/26/10 at 8:14pm
