Any idea what kind of overclocks I can expect from this card?
Well most cards maxed out the shaders around 1476-1512 of course there are cards that will go higher... Core clocks start to drop around 725 but I did manage to get 756 core clock with 1512 shaders.

I reccomend you check the shader strap list in Nvidia section and after you find the highest stable strap you just unlink the shaders from core clock and up the core clock untill you find your max clocks. Memory OC helps but not as much I think I only got a 200 mhz out of the overclock before it started artifacting

Regarding that 8x speed... it isnt really bottlenecking the performance and your mobo has reversed position for pcie slots so top one is actually the second slot so that may be the problem here.

This Nvidia OC's seems alot more complicated than I though lol

As for the PCIE slot my GPU is in slot 1 (the bottom) and the paddle is in slot 2 (the top)

Im guessing thats right?

Not really that complicated you'll get the hang of it quickly

Here is the shader strap guide to help you: http://www.overclock.net/nvidia/4976...er-straps.html

Seems like your GPU position is good then maybe its a bug with GPU-z or a powersaving feature beacuse it should be running full 16X

But even if it isn't you arent loosing any performance (tested it myself because I had to run 8x speed on my Asus mobo due to stupid placement :/ )

Hey guys excuse my inexperience but if I have a 260 216 that can not do software voltage adjustment that is a 55nm card correct? Anyway I have an EVGA SC 260 216 that I have folding stable at 602/1675/stock mem that I would like to try and increase the shaders on some more. As my temps are still great I think I'd like to get a bit more voltage which as I understand it is possible with a BIOS flash, would somebody mind pointing me towards an idiots guide to BIOS flashing? I'm no complete noob when it comes to overclocking but this will be my first BIOS flash so any tips or instructions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Have a read here it worked on the good old 260 I had:

http://www.evga.com/forums/tm.aspx?m...e=1&print=true

If your stock volts are 1.18V then no BIOS mod will help tho beacuse only certain models had lower voltage (1255 had 1.12V, 1257 has the max 1.18V)

Almost forgot... BIOS flashing guide: http://www.overclock.net/nvidia/1498...-flashing.html
