Alright so some of you know I recently bought a evga 750I ftw and got it DOA with memory errors and what not.
I sent it in for RMA, and I check my email this afternoon and read that my RMA has been rejected due to "Bent Pins"...
Ok so im assuming this means CPU pins? My CPU sure fit nicely in there with no problems and gave me no error codes but the ram errors. So I called EVGA RMA customer support, and the dude was like oh yeah we cant do to much its gonan cost $50 to repair the pins and send you a replacement............. NO? Im not paying 50 bucks on top of the 170 i already payed just to get the same thing I wanted to have working when I first received it.... EVGA as far as motherboards go right now are really going to the top of my hate list.
So has anyone been rejected by EVGA for a motherboard RMA with this same type of ordeal? if so, what did you to to overcome it? i know GOOD and well they were not bent when I received it, or bent when I sent it in... So why shoudl I pay for something thats not true that I already payed 170 bucks for... I should have stayed with a brand I already knew I could trust, instead I switched it up now im going through nothing but trouble. I got a GTX 280 and a 1000HX and a Q9550 all being shipped to me right now scheduled to be here wednesday and thursday but no decent motherboard to use it with, thats the whole reason I bought it in the first place, to use it right?
Anyone got any helpful advice on what I can do? RMA department is closed right now so I really cant speak with anyone firsthand at this time thats why Im posting here.
Thanks alot for any one offering advice/comments/help.
