[Official] Cooler Master ATCS 840 Owners Club - Page 107

I'm thinking I may have to remove/disable the top two 230 mm fans to top mount my PSU after I installed my windowed side panel, being as I'm using a CM UCP 1100, it's a mass of cables that will be hard to route in a manner that's pretty.

Any suggestions re: airflow?

Rubbing alcohol works fine, that's what I did with my components. The #1 most important thing is to allow the primer (then paint) adequate time to fully dry. Good luck!

Got a question about your build... where'd you get the thumb screws? They look really nice.

I still need to do some mods but here's mine. Cable management needs work because I didn't care for now since I'm getting a water block for my GTZ 260 and maybe a HK soon.

It's a TFC 360 (Feser) and not hard at all. I wasn't carfefully enough and scratched it a little. I used the brackets to mount 3x 120 fans on the top. As long it's not a res rad there shouldn't be a problem.

So my ATCS 840 is FINALLY all painted and reassembled. Yay! The only thing I did not paint are the ball-bearing bars, which the mobo tray slides into. I just forgot to paint them when I had paint. :/ I think it looks alright, but I'm not a good judge with aesthetics - do you guys think that'll throw off the "look"?

I'll try to get pics or a vid up tonight to show you more clearly.
