That sleeve doesn't even expand. I had difficulty running a single strand of wire through that damn thing. Looks as though it's made from cotton and not nylon

True. It does not expand. The 1/8-inch sleeving is good for single wires only. I use it sparingly. The 1/4-inch is very different in its behavior. Most excellent for a few fan wires or two Molex wires. You might need larger sleeving for a full 4-wire Molex run; as you note, it hardly expands at all.

I love your idea for shoe laces. I have some shoes that need new laces of about that size, and shrink tubing would make fine aglets. Now, if they only made it in brown . . .

well I just joined the club, but this thing is a monster and I think I'm going to have to sell it. If I keep it I have to make a computer worth putting in it now i think.

I have the 1/8th sleeve. I had originally intended to unisleeve my power supply and that was why I ordered it. Now that I have it in my hand, I'm like naaay, the cable looks too cheap to sleeve any cable on earth. I just had it boxed up ready to be sent back to performancePCs(fully aware that they won't do refund on items that are cut to order). I will never buy anything from them again.

Get the UV reactive orange ones either for your sleeve or the heatshrink. Stand up and get noticed. You could soon be the measure of increasing UV radiation on earth and can eventually be the ambassador to educate people on the effects of the so-called "GLOBAL WARMING" err..... or is it Global Cooling .. meh I don't know anymore.

Having a monster case doesn't mean the system config you put together inside it has to be out of this world. No computer too cheap IMO.
You can be as stingy as you can be to begin with and gradually build it up to your liking, upgrading 1 part at a time as you deem necessary.

I keep saying this to my frenz as well: "It's always MIND OVER MATTER"

I agree with what Maverick said. Just because you have a huge case doesnt mean you have to have really expensive components. I started out with a piece of poo MSI motherboard that only supported single channel ddr2, an E4500 and 2gb of ram. Since then I have upgraded everything one piece at a time, and I can play just about everything on the gaming market with no issues.
