Hey guys. Thanks for the help. Me and my roommate had a break through today. I'm going to put 3 120mm(2 panflo 114cfm + silverstone 114cfm) fans on top and turn them as intake. The only outtake fan I will have is the rear one. I took panny hose and used hot glue to make the whole top fan grill a removable fan filter. This setup may seem weird but it may work out somewhat good. At least from a dust stand point. I'll post back when I find out.

I'll show mine off after my FrozenCPU order shows up; USPS misrouted it, but they've corrected it and will have it at my house hopefully in the next few hours. Picked up a few neat things from there and I'll show them off once they're installed; this is relevant since one of them will be sitting behind the optical drive bays.

Please post if you have pics of the same.
Thanks

EDIT: As promised, here is how my right side looks like. What a royal pain in the butt to even get this far

My right side is a TOTAL mess. I'm too embarrassed to share it It's difficult just to get the panel on (and I'm using a modular PSU!)

Anyone have any suggestions? The biggest culprit for bulk is my fan cables, since I don't have a fan controller they are all just plugged into the PSU, but I need to use a 3-pin to molex adapter for each fan, which adds a ton of bulk. Any suggestions?

I'd suggest one of these:

http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16812195004

Compact and powers 6 fans from one molex.

The more stuff you have, the more wiring you have to hide in the case, ive grown accustomed to it. I have a ton of wires behind my side panel, probrably gonna have more soon.

As far as the redundant 4 pin molex connectors, you can get a terminal block and cut off the connectors and wire the power to the terminal block and then to the fans. Another person on the forum did it, and it looks quite clean. Another option is to get Y adaptors so you can plug two fans into one molex, or convert 4 pin to 3 pin as they are significantly smaller and are easier to manage.

Thats actually a pretty good solution as well, as you wont need to cut wires and what not. Better for the novice.

The only question is do you have 3 pin fan connectors frost?
I don't know if I would spend $15 just for a connector.....
Edit: ... and you have only solved half of the equation: you have not started to control the fans!

A good solution is obviously always a fan controller. Besides allowing you to control fan speed linearly, rather than three step (5V, 7V, 12V), it also provides power cable extensions plus thermal sensors.

For about $40 you can get the Scythe "KAZE MASTER Pro " 5.25" Bay Fan Controller. Nice feature is that it can drive fans with up to 1A (12W) per channel. Granted, the thermal sensors are not exactly high precision but good enough for rock'n'roll; otherwise you can verify the offset with a reference thermal sensor...

One does not have to mount it into a 5.25" slot if one doesn't want to.

I was lucky to get some Aerocool Easywatch controlers for less than US$8 (yes eight!!). They are pot ugly, but stripped of the gawdy plastic and mounted inside, they have one peachy bonus: black flat ribbon cables for power and sensors.

Which brings us back to our current topic: flat ribbon cables make cable management so easy it's almost like cheating. If one could only buy black cables!!!! I have bugged at least a dozen companies, to no avail. Well the effort was not a total waste, since I scored a couple of free cables.
