I just purchased a 4 month old Cooler Master with a windowed side panel as a bonus. I paid a total of $160.00 including shipping cost. I cant wait till my new baby gets here I'm so excited right now. I just hope it arrives undamaged.

I will post pics as soon as I begin my build...

If anyone is interested I just saw an e-bay listing for windowed side panels. Looks like it is an e-bay store in Canada. The price is a bit high $49.20 plus $15.12 shipping but they are sold out everywhere I have checked. Luckily my case had a windowed & stock panel included. Looks like they have 3 left.

Well, I just started putting together my first build. Wanted to first check and see that things fit properly the way they should.

I go to insert my fan controller which is a Scythe Kaze master pro KM03-BK and lo and behold... it doesn't fit in the 5.25" bay. This is so frustrating! I read that some things don't fit in the 5.25" bays even though in every other case they will fit. You would think by now Cooler Master would have done something about this. They haven't. Guessing they never will on this case.

So, does anyone have any suggestions on how to get this thing to fit? It looks like there is a good 2-3mm of aluminum inside the case that I somehow need to squeeze the fan controller by. Is it possible or am I stuck with a $40 fan controller that can't go in the bay it's supposed go into? Could I loosen something on the case that might allow me to sneak it through?

Please... any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

***EDIT/UPDATE*** Well..... I solved my own problem in case any one is interested. For about an hour and a half I pushed... I prodded... I shook.... I pulled... but the thing only got stuck in the middle of the bay. I finally decided to pull it totally out and try again in the morning.

Once it was out again... I decided to take the fan controller apart... thinking maybe I could fit it in and reassemble once it was in the bay. That did the trick! I only had to take the top and front face plate off. I was then able to fit it in the bay and it was a breeze to screw everything back into place. A nightmare to deal with to say the least but it now fits (hopefully it still works though after all the pushing and pulling I did, but it looks like all the pins are straight and in place.)

The problem I'm having though is I can't get the toolless drive bay clamps to secure the fan controller. I can't seem to find the holes to catch into. So, the fan controller kind of wiggles, but I guess I can live with that if i ultimately can't do it.

So, is there any trick to getting the toolless clips to catch? I can't see the holes so i don't know how to do this.

I have several fan controllers in my cases: Scythe Kaze server, a Silverstone EA module, plus I bought three (yes three!!) Aerocool EasyWatch.
The latter because they were such a deal ($8 each), and for that you get black flat ribbon cables which make cable management a breeze!
The new Zalman 6 Fan controller is quite sweet, too.

As far as making it useful with the removable tray, connect only the CPU and backside fan to your mobo. The rest, you connect to one or more controllers.
(In the 840 I would not bother controlling the 230mm fan: they turn relatively slow and slowing them down further reduces the airflow exponentially!!!)

One more cable routing hint: run one +5 & +12VDC cable to the top of the case. And feed off of there (both fans, front access, optical drive, etc).

Hey guys, didn't posted here for quite some time.

I have a question about XSPC RX360 radiator, will it fit on top of the ATCS ?
From dimension i checked everything is fine, maybe someone from us here used it.
