It should handle the heat in my opinion, it is just not healthy for the processor (just like feeding someone junk food everyday )

I finally installed all the components in the case. Unfortunately, the PCI slots on the back of the case were somehow misaligned and needed some bending (GPU fits more or less ok but the soundcard is angled). Some extra cable management holes would have been handy. The stock fans are very quiet and inaudible (well, one of the advantages of living on a busy street).
A 1 hour long Prim95 test (just a first taste) has shown that the CPU temperature shouldn't exceed 36-37°C (idle: 21°C which can't be true ^^. Add 10-15°C?). I will post some pictures later on or will ninja-edit this post

Overall: hmm...looks slick!

My 80gb Intel SSD, XFX 5850 and some cable management components come today! I hope the FedEx truck gets here soon. The other 5850 should arrive either Tomorrow or Monday.

Anyone know how long OCZ's RMA process takes? One of my sticks of OCZ Gold DDR3 1600mhz just died randomly. At least they are covered by a lifetime warranty.

KShirza1, I really like your build. Nicely done. I agree the mix of bare aluminum and strategically painted parts looks sharp. After seeing some of the hack paint jobs on this case, yours looks amazing.

Hot damn. crossfire 5850's and an SSD = pure sex. I'm amazed at how drastically an SSD boosted my rig's overall performance!

Looking for an atcs 840 guru, I'm going to start buying parts this weekend

I would prefer putting an extended atx motherboard in this case

But I would also prefer having the latest tech like sata3, 890fx chipset usb3 etc

I cant seem to find an e-atx motherboard I like

Are there any e-atx motherboards out there that someone could recommend? Or am I stuck getting standard atx to get the latest features
