A question

if I'm not interested in extracting Matherboard pannel (i speak about the sytem to extract the the panne to build matherboard and all system our from the case) could i cut the top diagonal beam or this weaken the structure of the case?

I think that the same problem must exist with other CPU Cooler Heatsink

thermalright hr-2

http://www.thermalright.com/new_a_pa...cpu_hr-02.html

thermalright siver arrow

http://www.thermalright.com/new_a_pa...ver_arrow.html

or ProlimaTech Armageddon

http://benchmarkreviews.com/index.ph...1&limitstart=1

And in genral with all CPU Cooler Heatsink that use 140mm fans.

Thank regards

To be honest I don't know, but I think it'll be fine if you cut it.

Let me put on my I'm-playing-dumb hat on for today and ask a fundamental OC'ing question. So here it is:

While overclocking if I disable EIST, Turbo, C1 and other power-saving features in the BIOS, would turning them back ON after I reach my desired stable OC render the system unstable?

I have this afternoon to kill and thinking of tweaking my settings a little bit more and wanted to know the answer to the above before I make a head start.

Thanks

@grillz9909 - I'd replace the RED SATA cables with black or atleast sleeve them for a uniform look.

I thought the space behind the motherboard tray was supposed to hide cables from ever seeing the light of day. Just teasing. I thought about taking photos from that side, but figured no one would want to look at pictures of bunches of cables. I guess I didn't know who I was dealing with!

I did the best I could getting shots from where my computer is positioned. But I refuse to pull it away from the wall right now. I want to actually put it to use. Still, I hope they give you an adequate idea of how I tackled cabling.

Nothing to be ashamed of on that cable management.
(As far as "it is hidden so no one cares": I am sure I am not the only one who gets bugged by things that I know aren't perfect even if I cannot see them.... A perfectionists curse!)

Yes that would definitely cause some problems. I recommend just turning them off... If you're overclocking you shouldn't really be worried about power saving anyway.

And I have a whole bunch of different color Sata cables, I just used what was in my old case and called it good. I wanted to get it running asap

Is that something that's sold like that or did you sleeve cables of varying lengths yourself?
