Not that I'm aware of. There are prototype shots of the original mobo tray (which had no cable management holes) but none of those prototypes were even accidentally installed in a retail case. It sounds like a manufacturing defect that you have there, one that I haven't seen before.

It might just be the previous owner kept them because they are supposed to be longer than the average IIRC.

The worst part, I bought the case a while ago, then had to postpone the build. The standoffs were missing, I noticed immediately, but since I have so many of them I didn't care until NOW.

Ok, here is the pic. The one I found at the retailers is on the right. It fits into the mobo-tray holes. As you can see it is significantly shorter and the thread is different.

Had the length been better I would have stayed at the shop and gone through the huge jar of standoffs by myself trying to find more of them, but since the mobo-tray hole for cooler access has its edges curved inwards, towards the mobo (WHY!?), I am worried the short standoffs would make the edges touch, which can't be good.

I have several variations of the other ones, but they are all basically the same with a bit difference in length and/or length of the thread, the only common denominator being the thread itself, which simply doesn't fit at all as it is too wide.

The one you found at the retailers definitely doesn't look like a standard standoff; that's why it doesn't fit. The other two have threadings that look like what you'd find on standoffs that come with most cases, and they should fit (the one on the left looks like what comes with the ATCS).

But that is just it, the thread I found at the retailer FITS! The others don't!

I KNOW! I am at a total loss myself as well. Well, it seems like I have a somwhat FUNKY motherboard tray. ...since I can now expect the refurbisher to not know what he is doing, and since I can now assume that the reason there were no standoffs is because they themselves didn't have any that fit, I will have to go to plan B. I cannot return the tray, since shipping it would be prohibitively expensive. Same goes for the entire case. I have to assume the seller knew the mobo tray had a problem. I have to assume he doesn't have any suitable standoffs either. Add to that the fact that I have already cut cable-management holes in the tray and my only choice is to buy the standoffs myself.

Now then...anybody have ANY IDEA how I can find out what size and thread that is on the right? Frakk.

Well it seems like whoever had it before stripped the holes and didn't tell anyone about it... bah. Can you get detailed photos of the standoff holes?

I have 8 extra standoffs sitting on my desk, I'd be happy to send them to you if u pay for shipping.

Edit: oh dw i just read the rest of your posts... stripped threads?

Edit2: Have you thought about asking a shop to weld them on or something?

Edit3: I have compared the standoffs I have with the pics you posted, they dont match any of them. The thread looks very similar to an optical drive bay screw.
